It is by our exemplary conduct as Masons in raising our families and in our business and professional relationships, that we will attract new men to our Fraternity. When we speak of the moral and ethical principles of Freemasonry only within the Lodge, they can become stale and routine recitations of ritual. But when we begin to live by these precepts and apply them in our dealings with our families, friends, and the society at large, not only will we have an effect on those around us, but also we will attract new members and Masons to our Lodges. Al Kaly Shriners Night with the Colorado Springs Sky Sox

Al Kaly Shriners invites all Masons, family, and friends to join us at Security Service Field…………

When: Tuesday, July 20, 2010
Time: 6:00pm, BBQ buffet in the Coors Picnic Terrace
7:05pm, game begins – Colo Spgs Sky Sox vs. Sacramento River Cats

Where: Coors Picnic Area, Sky Sox Stadium
4385 Tutt Blvd, Colo Spgs

Cost: $20/person Adults $13/person children 12 and under. Parking extra.

The Colorado Springs Sky Sox are the AAA affiliate to the Colorado Rockies. The Sacramento River Cats are the AAA affiliate to the Oakland Athletics.

Fairplay Colorado Celebrates The Lodge Room Over Simpkins’ Store

CELEBRATE
“The Lodge Room Over Simpkins’ Store”
Doric Lodge No. 25 invites you to attend the 136th Anniversary of Doric Lodge and the 112th Anniversary of the poem written by Past Grand Master Lawrence N. Greenleaf.
WHEN: Saturday, August 14, 2010
WHERE: Doric Lodge No. 25, 422 Hathaway St., and the
South Park City Museum in Fairplay, Colorado

PROGRAM:

  • Open a Tiled Lodge of Masons in the Museum Lodge Room at 10:30 A.M.
  • First or Second Degree work (first Section) followed by lunch at Doric Lodge
  • Continue degree work after lunch
  • Recitation of the “POEM” by David E. Kintz, Jr., Senior Warden of Doric Lodge No. 25.
  • Adjourn to enjoy the Museum

COST: $15.00 per person for a catered lunch and admission to
the Museum.

All Masons and their families are invited to attend. Non-Masons may attend a program sponsored by the Museum.

Cornerstone Ceremony

By request of the City of Salida and Chaffee County, a cornerstone will
be laid for the newly renovated “Touber Building”
(old Denver Rio Grande Railroad Hospital),
located at 448 East First Street in Salida, Colorado.
The Grand Opening event will be the completion of converting the old
hospital into the new government offices for Salida and Chaffee County.

Date: Friday – April 30, 2010
Lodge Opens: 12:30 P.M.-140 West Third Street
Ceremony: 2:00 P.M.
* Light Lunch at Lodge Hall beginning at 11:30 A.M.

  • May 7, 2010—Silver State Lodge #95–Pueblo Municipal Justice Center—open Lodge Pueblo Masonic Center at 126 Broadway 3:00 p.m.—Travel to corner of D and South Main, Pueblo—Ceremony at 4:30 p.m.–refreshments to follow at Masonic Center 126 Broadway.
  • June 16, 2010—Brush Lodge #123—East Morgan County Library—Lodge opens at 9 a.m.—Ceremony at 10 a.m. More details to follow.
  • August 26—Rio Blanco Lodge #80—Meeker, CO—Refreshments at 11:45 a.m. at Lodge hall. Lodge opens at 12:45—ceremony at 2 p.m. Meeker Elementary School. — 201 Ute Rd. Right behind the Community Recreational Center. More details will follow.
  • September 25, 2010—Silvercliff Lodge #38—130th Anniversary celebration—10 a.m. at Westcliffe. Ceremony at 11 a.m. on site. Lunch will follow. 130th anniversary follows at 1 p.m.
